Expertise
Inclusion
With each survey, evidence increases that people’s performance on a team is strongly related to them being truly themselves. Inclusion is inextricably linked to High Performance; it is the key to settling unconscious prejudices in decisions and making diversity and success. I will show how you can make a big difference for someone else through a small change.
Examples of questions I can answer:
- How to build an organisation with inclusive leaders?
- Why does our brain sometimes inadvertently exclude people?
- How can I discuss inclusion in my team and organisation?
- Why does our brain make inner groups of up to 150 people?
- How to build safe teams for all in it?
- What are the 11 everyday moments I can change today resulting in more inclusion?
- What ’66 days challenge’ can we take up for more inclusive behaviour?
Awareness of your unconscious bias
Too often, what you say is not at all what you do. Your brain leads a life of its own in many respects, which makes change and more diversity very hard. We will examine your mindbugs during a cheerful and challenging meeting with many confronting and interactive assignments. The result will be that you realise that there is room for improvement and that you are motivated to take steps.
Examples of questions I can answer:
- What unconsciously controls more than 95% of your behaviour?
- What techniques have been proven effective in reducing unconscious bias?
- What techniques best suit our organisation and/or team?
- How to ensure impact and results in resolving the wide gap between intentions and behaviour?
High Performance leadership
Or: how to achieve even better results with your team. A keynote based on thorough research by HPO Center, full of eye-openers regarding good leadership!
“Esther skillfully combines a light tone with depth.“
Examples of questions I can answer:
- How can the behaviour of leaders affect the change of an entire organisation?
- Which moments of leadership are crucial?
- How come there are no bad teams with good leaders?
- Which employees should we pay most attention to?
- Is leadership changing fundamentally?
Female leadership
This is where it all started for me in 2005. By now, I have supported over 10,000 talented women worldwide to fulfill their ambitions leading organisations to become more diverse and perform better.
Examples of questions I can answer:
- Do men and women really differ so much?
- What is in 2021 the status and impact of motherhood and the ‘breadwinner syndrome’?
- How can five ambitions take me further than one?
- What are the key moments in my career that need extra attention?
- How to actually get what I deserve?
- Why is the boss often more important than the job?
Diversity
What makes diversity so hard to achieve? How can we benefit from the latest insights and best ideas to make headway?
Examples of questions I can answer:
- What is the actual benefit of more diversity for my teams and organisation?
- What is the diversity paradox?
- What do we need to know about privilege if we want more diversity?
- Offer quota the solution for my organisation?
- What are the focus areas of the different categories of diversity?
- What steps to take in order to reach more diversity?
- Why is more diversity in organisations so difficult?
- How can my actions help increase diversity in my team and/or organisation?
- What is inclusive recruiting and how can we do that?
How I assist organisations
During any presentation, I bring in a lot of recent research and insights. I love holding the mirror to bring awareness of your personal unconscious biases, assumptions, and processes. That is the first step towards looking, thinking, and acting differently. Because in the end, that is what this is all about.
