About Emmalotte
That curiosity is the common thread running through her work. As a journalist, Emmalotte explores social and cultural developments. As a trainer and facilitator, she translates her insights into energetic, interactive workshops in which participants are invited to take action.
Within her work in diversity, equity and inclusion, Emmalotte focuses on sustainable behavioural change. Based on the conviction that inclusion becomes visible in small, everyday choices, she co-wrote the book Micromomenten – Kleine acties die teams groot maken with Esther Mollema.
In 2025, Emmalotte was selected for the talent programme of Red Pers, which collaborates with DPG Media. As a Zeitgeist editor, she wrote about topics including nostalgia in our listening habits, knowledge influencers and our Calvinist tendency to schedule even our leisure time efficiently.
Emmalotte has carried out assignments for organisations including Abbott, SADC, TU Delft, Gasunie and ABN AMRO. Together with Esther, she is also co-host of the podcast Zij aan Zet. She graduated as an honours student in communication and media.
Workshop in Micromomens
Emmalotte delivers interactive, energetic workshops in which major workplace challenges, such as loneliness, absenteeism, burnout, staff turnover, declining employee satisfaction, a lack of innovation and low willingness to change, are translated into everyday behaviour.
Everyone influences the people around them. During the workshop, participants learn how to use that influence consciously to strengthen connection, engagement and collaboration. In this way, a strong workplace culture is not only the responsibility of leaders, HR or a programme, but something everyone can contribute to every day.

Are generations real, or just a mirror of our time?
